Insulin Pump Holder
thingiverse
My girlfriend's insulin pump holder keeps breaking, so I created a printable replacement she can make whenever it needs fixing. Instructions Slicer: Use Cura 15.04.2 to slice your design. Printer Settings: Print on a Robo 3D R1+ with PLA filament at a nozzle diameter of 0.4mm and print speed of 50mm/s. Layer height is set to 0.2mm, shell thickness to 1.2mm, and top/bottom thickness to 1mm. Infill is 25% grid density. Nozzle temperature is set to 200C, bed temperature to 50C, and cooling enabled at 100% from 0.4mm height. To prepare the print for removal of supports: Enable support material everywhere, structure type lines with infill of 15%. Set X/Y distance to 0.7mm, Z distance to 0.15mm. In Cura, rotate both model pieces upside down. This should fill inside with support material. Follow all above settings carefully. Print the model. Remove supports afterwards. File friction slider gently if necessary until it fits snugly on the bottom piece. Take your time as it's crucial for smooth operation.
