Insulin Pen Fridge Organizer

As a Type 1 Diabetic I need to inject insulin daily to live. This insulin also has to be stored in the fridge but when I used to stack them in the shelf on the door if more than 2 boxes were stacked up they'd slide over the top of the shelf and fall on the floor every time someone opened the fridge. I have the height to stack more than 2 on the shelf but the shelf lip is only high enough to contain 2 boxes. Prusa Mini to the rescue! I designed an organizer with slots on the ends so that I can easily retrieve a new box of insulin pens when I need to open one but designed the organizer to be tall enough to hold 4 unopened boxes of pens and the 5 holes in the front store vertically the 5 pens from the box I currently am using. This gives you the ability to easily store 5 total boxes of insulin pens (25 total pens) without them sliding all over the place or falling off the fridge shelf! My design specifically fits my insulin brand which is Novolog but I've included the step files which can be easily modified if your insulin pen boxes are a slightly different size and so you can also modify the pen holes in the front since I know other brands have slightly different diameters for their insulin pens. Print instructionsI printed mine in PETG because I liked the blue color but this would work fine in PLA as well. Since the print is large (and I’m impatient :) ) I printed it at .25mm layer height draft setting with slightly decreased bottom layer since its a functional print (my 3mf file is linked). Even with those lower settings my print turned out great including the embossed text and graphic on the front. No supports needed, the slots on the ends bridge just fine on my Prusa Mini. For some extra fun and a nod to the molecular diagram for insulin I added a modifier to the bottom of the box to remove the top fill layer and selected the hexagon infill pattern.
