Our Insulator Retainer Acrylic Part Suddenly Broke When We Collided With a Plastic Blob. I Successfully Reattached It Using Glue, But Think It's a Good Idea to Have an Extra One on Hand. The Acrylic Component Shattered Into Pieces, So I Installed the Printed Part and Everything Is Working Great! I Was Worried That the Insulator Might Overheat Due to Its ABS Material, But After Several Hours of Operation at 220 Degrees Celsius, It's Performing Fine. Instructions Make Sure You Get a Solid Raft During Printing, As This Will Ensure the Part Prints Without Warping. There Are Two Files Available: Choose Either One: Insulator Retainer.stl - I Created This Model in Sketchup Using Dimensional Measurements. Insulator Retainer Built from Dxf File.stl - I Imported the Makerbot Dxf File into Sketchup and Modified It to Add Depth. Print Out the Part and Use It According to the Plastuder Assembly Instructions.
