This project originates from the Ultimaker Academy, a comprehensive toolkit designed for continuing professional development of teachers. The aim is to empower makers by turning their creative ideas into tangible reality. Although still under development, this toolkit is now available in an open beta format, inviting our community to provide feedback and suggestions to improve both the projects and the toolkit itself. We have successfully tested these initial projects with a small group of schools, and it's time for you to participate by sharing your thoughts and opinions! If you have any questions or comments, please don't hesitate to contact Ronald Scheer, the mastermind behind Ultimaker Education. For elementary students, we've designed an exciting task: designing a palace for the princess and the knight. Using Morphi app or Tinkercad, they'll bring their imagination to life. The toolkit includes detailed instructions on how to effectively integrate this project into your teaching curriculum. By making learning fun and engaging through appealing contexts, students will naturally develop essential skills such as communication, creativity, social and cultural awareness, and ICT literacy. This innovative project is a direct continuation of the successful StoryStarter initiative from LEGO Education, made possible in collaboration with Autodesk Sweden and LEGO Education themselves.
