DescriptionThis is my InstaxWideFotoCase created in Fusion360.The case has 10 individual slots for your pictures, but if you want you can insert 2 pictures per slot for a maximum capacity of 20 pictures. Just make a photo put the photo into the case and at home put it into your photo album :)The case has an overall size of 115mm (length) x 31mm (width) x 93mm (height). It can fit pictures of the Instax Wide Format: That is 99mmx62mm (3.9"x2.4"). The slots are spaced with a distance of 1.9mm.I created the model as gift for a couple of friends. I am not owning an instant picture camera, but it was a lot of fun to design and prototype this model. So I am happy to see any MAKES Hinge-MechanismThe case utilise a so called hinge-mechanism. That is a print in place mechanism to safely close and open the box.To ensure that the hinge-mechanism will be printed nicely and without a “crunch” factor I offset the pin so that it lays on the bottom of the knuckle. (See picture below) MaterialI printed the Modell with Wood Filament for enhanced fanciness.Of cause you can print it in standard PLA instead.Printing You need to print the Modell with supports, at least enable “Supports on build plate”.The print takes about 12 hours, that's why I included a HingeTest.3mf file if you want to play save and print (and test) the hinge mechanism before committing to the large print.Be careful! Since the pin lays directly on the knuckle you need to enable “Supports on build Plate”, on the HingeTest.3mf as well!For enhanced fanciness you can sand the model with sandpaper :) Due to the high amount of support material it is a little costly but absolutely worth it.Print-SettingsInfill: 20%Layer-Height: 0.2mmSupport: Support on build plate Questions?Something not clear?
