Instax Back Adapted to Tachihara

Instax Back Adapted to Tachihara

thingiverse

This is a set of models for building an Instax back for a Tachihara 4x5 camera. The Instax back is constructed from a discontinued Lomography Bel-Air Instax Wide back, which was taken apart and significantly modified. A custom design was created by carefully measuring the necessary dimensions required to fit the Tachihara. There are two versions of this project - one where the main part is divided into top and bottom components, and another where it remains a single piece. In both cases, the 'protrusion' piece must be attached to the main part using screws. If your printer can handle large prints, it's likely better to print the main part in its entirety. The combined main and protrusion parts form a small groove for inserting the dark slide.
