It will take you just 5 minutes to print this fully functional paper clip in PLA, but it took me all morning to perfect the design. By then I had already found a real metal paper clip, but once a tech enthusiast always tinkers with new projects! 7 iterations later (pic 2, left to right), from an original paper clip I had downloaded and modified, this version worked perfectly, firmly holding my set of documents at 1.5mm thick, weighing in at 45g. Not a single sign of stress appeared even after repeated reverse bending. Print a couple just for fun - you don't want to get caught out like I did!
