Insta360 One X - RMRC Recruit Mount

I designed a mount specifically for the Insta360 One X or potentially the One to hang off the front of my ReadyMadeRC Recruit. Its design is tailored to be printed in PLA, ensuring a strong and durable build. The mount features its own 1/4" thread, engineered as the deliberate failure point in case of a crash, thereby reducing the force on the camera and preventing potential damage. The slot at the back of the mount passes through the stock Recruit battery strap, providing additional security and stability. To prepare my Recruit for the new mount, I will need to modify the nose cone by making some precise cuts. I plan to print the mount with 100% infill, ensuring maximum strength and support, and also use a small string lanyard to tether it securely to the plane, eliminating any risk of loss or damage during flight.
