When it comes to Action Cameras, I have a lot of GoPro style mounts. Suction, sticky, selfie poles, printed mounts for various applications etc. I'm also a fan of the Insta360 Go2 camera because it is tiny. Putting in place of a Gopro was awkward, so I did fire up the old SolidWorks, and did design a little tiny clamp mount, to allow it to be fitted to a GoPro style mount. It is nice and secure, and just needs a single M3x12mm cap head screw (Stainless if you like!) to secure the camera in place. The camera slides through with the screw loosened a turn or two, but keep an eye out for the button on the camera being pressed accidentally. The screw goes into the plastic, so go easy when tightening. You could put a threaded insert in there, but I haven't seen the need for that yet. Butt the lens up to the side of the clamp when assembling, and the button can be used as normal. I printed it laid flat, used 3 lines of wall print, and 100% infill, in ABS so it doesn't soften in baking hot sun, or in the car. Support was needed. It works a treat and is nice and secure.
