All you need is just a few simple tools: 1 small, affordable smartphone stand that most people already own, 1 Manfrotto MCLAMP smartphone mount, 1 1/4-inch screw that can be easily twisted by hand, and 2 custom 3D printed parts. First, attach the 1/4 inch screw to the yellow plate. Twist it slowly and carefully back and forth until it's securely in place. Next, slide the yellow part into the cheap smartphone stand and secure it with glue. Replace the original rubber top piece with the new 3D printed one. Apply a small amount of rubber to the front tip of the new rubber piece, just like shown in the picture. Finally, add two thin strips of rubber to each side of the yellow plate and the cheap smartphone stand. Let everything dry completely before attaching the two parts together. Once it's all set, you can screw both parts together and mount your EVO camera and phone securely in place.
