Insta360 EVO FPV Mount

This is a First Person View mount designed specifically for the Insta360 EVO camera, a cutting-edge VR-camera capable of capturing stunning footage in either 5.7k 180 stereo or 360 mono modes. The purpose of this mount is to accommodate the 180 stereo mode, which requires careful positioning to ensure optimal viewing angles. There are two versions available: Normal and Inverted. The Normal version (evo4-Head-Fixed.stl) has the camera attached upside down, placing the lenses in a natural position relative to the operator's eyes. However, users must convert their footage on a PC using Insta360 Studio or Adobe After Effects plugin to achieve correct eye alignment. The camera excels at stabilization and rotation, but unfortunately swaps the left and right eyes during capture. To resolve this issue, an alternative Inverted version is provided, where the camera remains stationary while the lenses are positioned closer to the operator's eyebrows level. It would be highly beneficial if Insta360 engineers incorporated a "Upside-Down Mode" into their camera settings. Until then, users can opt for post-production editing on a PC or utilize the inverted rig as an alternative solution. UPDATE: A new Version 4 (evo4_XXX) has been added, featuring larger straps and rounded edges for enhanced comfort. Additionally, a Tilted version (evo4_Inverted_tilted.stl) is now available, where the camera is positioned 10 degrees below the normal position, allowing for a more comfortable viewing experience.
