Inspire 2 COG Camera Mount Screw

Inspire 2 COG Camera Mount Screw

thingiverse

This is a conceptual design rather than an exact specification, simply showing screws to be machined on a lathe for attaching a bottom camera mount under the center of gravity of the Inspire 2 drone. The idea is to hang a panono-style camera from the center, not on the gimbal. This was my first Tinkercad project; if it works, I'll refine the measurements and send the drawing to a machine shop for precise machining. The Inspire 2 has six bolts underneath its bottom plate. The front four bolts directly attach to the frame that rests on the base plate. However, the two screws in front of the sensors need to be machined differently to accommodate their slightly different vertical orientation, ensuring the camera mount remains level throughout. This design was created using Tinkercad and can be edited online at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/deejWUI0q2J.
