The retaining tab snapped on my Insignia television remote control's battery cover, model NS-RC03A-13. I discovered a replacement for model NS-RC01A-12 by GregB on myminifactory.com. I fine-tuned the dimensions and clip positions in Meshmixer so it fits my particular model perfectly. Although printing with the large flat panel on the bed seems natural, this causes the clip to have a tendency to snap along the layer lines when flexed. If you print it with its side along the bed, the U shape of the clip prints as one continuous line and is much more durable. Use Cure tree supports for the few overhangs when printing this way correctly.
