Insights into a Genius: Albert Einstein
prusaprinters
Remarkable geniuses have made our world what it is today. I would like to honour these people with aesthetic sculptures and remember them for their genius and contribution to humanity. With this first model you can have the brain of Einstein... sort of. This sculpture represents the father of modern physics: Albert Einstein. To express his genius, I wanted to highlight his genius with the symbolism of his brain. And because I didn't want to be one of those people who steal Einstein's brain and put it in a jar (yes, it happened, look it up), I redesigned and combined the two models by LJC_Designs and raining_eyes in the style of Collecticraft from MakerWorld to create my own little monument. The theme of reletavity is also represented in the sculpture by the two halves of the head positioned parallelly to each other. I hope you enjoy it and look forward to all the following sculptures as much as I do. I designed the model with a golden brain and nameplate as well as a marble statue in mind, but feel free to be creative and share your versions. I used 3DJake Ecofill Marble PLA and Bambu Lab Gold Silk PLA. The model was designed in Tinkercad and I'm still new to the whole 3D modelling world, so please bear with me. In the files you can find all the marble parts or all the gold parts in one file as well as each part individually. You can use the short pins to fix the bust to the pedestal and the long pins to fix the brain between the two head parts. There is two sets on dowels in slightly different sizes to ensure a tight fit even with varying tolerances. The model has a height of about 14 cm or 5.5 inches but can be freely scaled up or down of course.
