Inside y rail mount
thingiverse
The y rails fitting between the 2 extrusions was just a little too tight and I thought it was going to make for some un-necessary vibration. I put together a quick modification to mount the rails on the inside of the frame. If you are using the ob1.4 design as-is, order your y rails at 328mm ( ordered mine from missumi, part number is PSFJ8-328 ). The fit may be a little right, definitely don't take a dremel to the rail as it'll really mess things up ;) ( warped the rail a bit and its rubbing - hence this update/tweak ). I'm using the y plate from lulzbot ( or thing 19561 ) instead of the ob1.4. I updated the part a bit from the original. Recessed the m8 receiver in to the base plate a bit and corrected a bug on the flange.
