Inside part (spring tensioner) of a pepper grinder (moulin à poivre)
prusaprinters

Hi everyone,

I share with you today this part of a "moulin à poivre" (in french, but) pepper grinder in english ;)

My one was broken inside, after dismantle it, I've seen that the spring tensioner was broken and some plastic parts was blocking the grinder when I use it.

I decide to not replace this grinder and produce my own part to repair this grinder ! And what's better than train you on Fusion 360 and try to do your own pieces ? =) (Very proud because it's working until now ! Haha !)

More seriously, I made this replacement part and it's working fine, I don't know if every grinder have the same kind of piece (spring tensioner) but I leave this here, maybe someone else need this piece.

I hope this will help other people with this kind of problem =) I share also the way I create my piece (I reduce maybe too much the first layer but I get some trouble with 10mm/s in my 2 first try so I reduce drastically (1mm/s) only for the first layer, but I think you can try to increase that, up to 5mm/s for the first layer.

Also I used normal PLA setting (215°C 1st layer, 210°C next layers, and 60°C for the bed heat) with a generic white PLA.

Use also 100% filling with supports everywhere to have a nice piece in the end.

Sorry I forgot to take a picture when realized it and mount it directly, I take a picture of the inside but maybe I will dismantle it again to take a picture of it but you can trust me, it's working ! ^^

Enjoy !
