Insert for Shower Handle Knob to grip valve stem

Insert for Shower Handle Knob to grip valve stem

My replacement insert stopped the issue because it was designed specifically for polyacrylic handles and is meant to grip onto brass valve stems. Over time, the original teeth on my old plastic shower handle wore down because the brass stem was far more durable. This new insert replaces those worn-out teeth so that the knob will once again tightly grasp the valve stem. It features twelve precisely engineered teeth, about 30 degrees apart, with an internal diameter of approximately 8.65 mm and an external diameter of roughly 9.6 mm. The outside of this part measures 10mm in diameter, making it possible to use a 10 mm drill bit to create a new knob from any existing object. I've also included a temporary shower handle that I used during the prototype phase to test out my design for the inner gear teeth.
