Insert for holding screwdriver bits in a lighter
thingiverse
This is my take on Laura Kampf's CNC'd driver bit holder. If you haven't seen her video, check it out on YouTube. I don't have access to a milling machine, so I opted for an alternative approach. The insert I created is 3D printed and relies on friction fit to hold the parts together rather than magnets. I added an additional hollow space in the middle of the insert. My intention was that this less-accessible compartment would contain less frequently used driver bits, keeping them organized with the others. In reality, the fit of the insert is a bit too tight to allow easy access to the compartment. Nevertheless, it still serves its purpose by reducing the amount of filament required for printing.
