insect pliers

here's a little pliers to gently catch insects. it replaces the one provided in the children's insect observation kits. this version is longer and needs to be heated after printing to give it the desired gap according to the final use (of course the insect pliers can be used for something else) procedure: after printing (if printing with a border) the border is removed and then over the heat of a flame (or possibly heating the platen of the printer) the part where the red arrow is present is softened (see photo) and then spread the clamp evenly. it is cooled under cold water for example by keeping the spacing in place.
