Insect Liquid Bait House
thingiverse
We got ants in our house, and I already had some liquid bait / poison, but didn't want to just leave a puddle on a windowsill for our dog to taste-test. This is a quick little print that should do the trick. A 4mm deep dish in the center holds the bait, and a ring around the sides allows them to pass up and into the central chamber after the top is sealed with tape or something. I used clear tape so I can see whether any ants are inside, and whether there is still bait left in the dish. Appropriate edges are sloped to keep small drips out, but **please don't leave insect poison outdoors where it will disrupt the local ecosystem.** There are more effective and ethical ways of controlling pests in the lawn and garden. This should work great for indoor window ledges, under furniture, by doorways, etc.
