I'm creating a lifesize insect glaive cosplay prop inspired by the Monster Hunter series. The scaled-down model measures 15 inches and is printed at 20% scale, making it easier to work with. To ensure durability, I modified the central section to withstand its own weight when printed in full size. Each piece is carefully ordered, but you may need to smooth out the dowels for a precise fit depending on your printer's capabilities. This project is part of the Monster Hunter Design Contest.
