Inscripción romana con numeral (siglo I d.C.)

sketchfab

Roman inscription discovered accidentally in the 2016 excavation campaign alongside a street that ran north of the forum and led to El Pueyo of Los Bañales. It possibly belonged to signage indicating the size of a nearby funerary monument, known as an indicatio pedaturae, or more likely its text should be linked to some construction process or quarry use that escapes us. Because the L is used in the shape of an upside-down T, it would not be from after the Flavian era. Dimensions: 20 x 43 x 11 cm
