The inscription in the cloister of Roda Cathedral is a reminder of Iohannes' life and legacy. Iohannes, a canon and priest, passed away on the XIVth day before the Ides of September (August 19). The canons that day would forever remember and pray for his soul in the cathedral's cloister. A beautiful Gothic lettering, framed in an intricate incised border, stands as a testament to Iohannes' contributions.
