Inscribed Rhodian amphora, Mleiha, Sharjah

Inscribed Rhodian amphora fragment, circa 225 - 125 BCE, unearthed in the Mleiha area 7. The length of its handle measures approximately 27 centimeters. Documented in Overlaet 2018:19, Figure 13, Catalog No. 9. A total of 711 photographs were captured and thoroughly processed using Reality Capture. The fragment underwent a comprehensive suite of techniques including alignment, scaling, modeling, cleaning, simplification, unwrapping, texturing, and meshing. This artifact was presented in the exhibition B. Overlaet 2018, "Mleiha, An Arab Kingdom on the Caravan Trails," held at the Brussels World Museum from October 30 to December 30, 2018. The publication is a product of the Sharjah Archaeology Authority, located in Sharjah.
