Insanely Hard Puzzle Cube

thingiverse

This assignment required creating a 3x3x3 cube with five interlocking pieces, none of which are rectangular prisms. Each piece is made up of four to six smaller cubes. After sketching numerous designs on isometric paper, I selected the most challenging and least likely to fit into a regular cube. To ensure maximum difficulty, each piece was designed so it could fit in at least one more spot within the cube, resulting in a very perplexing puzzle cube with three unique solutions. The default size of this intricate design is 1.5 inches tall, but you can scale it to your preference using Makerware.
