Inoceramus pictus D1307 emerges from the depths of time in the Late Cretaceous Hartland Shale Member; its significance rooted in the Greenhorn Limestone Formation of Pueblo County, Colorado, USA. Measuring approximately 6.5 cm x 6.5 cm, this specimen holds a distinct place in the geological record. Collected by Glenn R. Scott and William A. Cobban on April 30, 1957, its discovery was documented in USGS Professional Paper 645.
