The friction force from the cord is used to tension a tent. Why not apply this technique to a hanging shelf? With this principle, you can easily expand the hanging components and adjust the height easily. The bracket is currently designed for vertical wall ends. Ideal for use in the shower.The load capacity of one element is enough to hold soaps or 2-3 shower products. But you shouldn't overdo it. This means you can get the perfect shelf with a rope and a 3D printer.Components: All components were designed for the print area size of a Prusa Mini.The following elements are currently designed and tested for the hanging shelf:- High box with water-permeable base for shower products - Low box with water-permeable base for soaps - Element with two hooks and a holder for razorsThe vertical wall mount is available in different sizes for different wall thicknesses.required material: - approx. 3mm thick cord. - Measuring device to determine the wall thickness. - 3D printer and PLAImportant: The beginning and end of the cord must be well knotted for safety reasons. The lowest element must be the heaviest.tested printing settings: - Layer thickness 0.15mm QUALITY - Otherwise the PrusaSlicer standard valuesWith this setting, no supports are necessary.I hope some people can use this shelf and enjoy it.
