Innovative and very high accuracy adjustable Endstop for Reprap Prusa and other models
thingiverse
This compact item ensures swift and exact calibration. Its unique method includes: permanently affixing the endstop to the printer's framework, performing precise calibration using a small, accurate M2 screw (0.4 mm per turn) on the moving component towards the endstop, and eliminating play/slack. A sample application is Prusa i3 Z-axis endstop (refer to pictures). The Z-Endstop is fastened to the metal frame, while the Thing holding the M2 screw is fixed to the bottom of the right X-end. Note: Removing the metal lever from the endstop leaves just the button, enhancing accuracy. To print this design, upload and adjust the STL file if necessary in OpenSCAD. Additional hardware required includes: 1 x M2 screw, 1 x M2 nut, and 2 x small wood screws.
