I am the manager of the North Dakota State University Research & Technology Park Innovation Studio. We are a makerspace consisting of Metalworking, Woodworking, Electronics, Textiles and Digital Fabrication. We are currently in the set-up phase and we have tour groups coming through the space. As opposed to having the standard trinkets coming off of the printers, I decided to make a custom item that our guests can pull off of the printers, assemble and keep on their desk as a little fidget toy. I designed it in Fusion360 and prototyped it before landing on this design.

I only recommend printing this assembly in PLA or a material that maintains dimensional accuracy after printing. It prints well at 100% but I would recommend printing it at 125%. The Gcodes listed below are automatically scaled at 125%.

I natively design in Imperial measurements so you might have to change your scale to 2540% to get it to convert into Metric but the latest version of PrusaSlicer should notice that it is designed in Imperial.

If there is enough demand, I'll change up some of the embossed text/texture around the outside of the body or make other changes as necessary.
