At the African Innovation Fair (http://www.innovafrica.org), I conducted a week-long bootcamp, where participants built two CNC machines without prior experience and learned to operate them. They created keyrings for event participants and now, the first two FabLabs of Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, and French-speaking Africa are underway.
