This modification kit replaces the original filter housing of a SOG toilet ventilation unit (door version Thetford C220). The original fan and all other SOG parts continue to be used. Instead of the filter housing, an outer cover with ventilation grid is screwed onto the service flap from the outside. The new inner filter housing, an original-SOG activated carbon filter, is attached to the inside of the service flap. The modification kit consists of five components: 1. Outer cover with ventilation grid 2. Filter case with rubber seal ring inserted 3. Filter case lid with fan flange 4. Tube for insertion into the filter case 5. Plug holder for screwing After tightening, a rubber seal ring (1 mm diameter) must still be inserted into the filter case and the tube glued in place with plastic adhesive. A total of 19 screws (3.5 x 16) are needed to secure and close the parts.
