Innato GT3 Button Guard
thingiverse
The Innato GT3 wheel is a good unit for the price and it's unfortunate that they are no longer produced. That said, there are a few deficiencies that need addressing to make it a GREAT wheel. The biggest problem I had was when crossing-up (turning 180deg left or right) my thumb knuckle would hit the start/stop or pit-limiter buttons! (Additionally, in other files I uploaded are a too-small funky switch cap and shifter paddles set further in toward the wheel.) This button guard addresses the problem I had and replaces the stock ones while not impacting the button use whatsoever. To install: Do these one at a time! Tightly grip the existing button-guard and turn counter-clockwise to loosen the captive hex nut 5-6 turns and then begin lifting it away from the wheel lightly. Once the nut is fully loosened (10-15 turns total) you can put your thumb over the button and with your finger-nails behind the guard, pull firmly towards you. Hopefully you didn't fling the nut and button across the room like I did! Place the nut inside the new button-guard hex hole and carefully thread it onto the button (it should rotate easily). Once tight (not too tight) you can simply place the button back over the white pin and press until it seats.
