Inmoov updated RotPotentioV2 for New Square potentiometers
thingiverse
The new Hitec servos for Inmoov now feature square potentiometers, replacing the original round ones. Unfortunately, these updates have rendered the existing files obsolete and useless. I've tried several alternative designs on this site, but most of them share a common flaw: the hole is not centered, which causes undue stress on the potentiometers. The original round potentiometers could be easily spun within their holder to fine-tune the zero position, ensuring precise calibration. In contrast, this new design places the square pot into a round holder, which must then be manually adjusted by spinning it. To verify that these changes haven't affected the potentiometer's fit, please ensure it slides smoothly into its slot without any signs of stress. To prevent any further issues, I recommend placing a small screw next to the center spinner or within the gap, securing everything in place and preventing any potential movement during use.
