InMoov Neo Pixel Ring Arc Reactor Logo

The InMoov DiskInternV3.stl logo plate, intended to be mounted inside the four DiskExternV2.stl units, failed to print correctly or exhibit sufficient contrast. Therefore, I opted to print the InMoov logo on transparency film instead, and then mount that over a smooth plate, secured in place by an outer mounting ring. The resulting assembly features flat black paint applied to both the DiskExternV2.stl structure and the mounting ring. Adding 23-karat gold leaf to the gold rings imbues this design with an unmistakable Mayan artifact aesthetic. This project utilizes the Arduino Nano, which is powered by the InMoovLogo.txt script (renamed from .txt to .ino format). To get Neo Pixel support installed on my Mac, I first ensured that the FTDI driver was in place, allowing usbserial to appear in the system report. Next, I downloaded and installed the Mac serial driver found here http://0xcf.com/2015/03/13/chinese-arduinos-with-ch340-ch341-serial-usb-chip-on-os-x-yosemite/, since my Arduino Nano is actually a $3 knockoff from China, which now functions flawlessly.
