InMoov - Bottom chest without kinect
thingiverse
Many thanks to Gael Langevin, creator of the InMoov 3D-printed robot (http://www.inmoov.fr). Several options exist for achieving 3D vision. Besides using a Kinect sensor, one could opt for the Orbbec Astra, which is significantly smaller, or employ binocular vision by utilizing two cameras in the eyes. However, there should be provision made to replace the Kinect sensor on the lower chest of the InMoov robot. The criteria guiding this design are: 1) complete removal of the Kinect and any visible signs of it, 2) no alterations to the torso, 3) identical attachment as for original parts, 4) large parts that are easy to print, and 5) maximum available space below the shell. To attach these components to the torso, first remove the support at the backside of the left and right parts. Next, secure the left and right parts to the middle using screws. Finally, screw the complete assembly to the torso.
