INLretro USB Programmer enclosure for NESmaker
thingiverse
This enclosure accommodates the INLretro programmer-dumper PCB v2.0N. It's the slim version many have received with NESmaker. Some key aspects of this design are worth noting: I aimed to keep the footprint small and preferred the USB cable to exit out the back rather than the front. To achieve this, I designed it to use a right-angle USB cable. The one I used can be found on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FP32HI0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. When attaching the board to the bottom tray, there are slots for size #4-40 x 1/2 inch machine screws and nuts. The screws will protrude slightly from the bottom; you can trim them flush with a Dremel or use the included spacers instead. Alternatively, you could employ self-tapping sheet metal screws if you prefer not to use machine screws and nuts. Two versions of the top half are provided: one features the NESmaker logo and the other does not. If using the version with the logo, you can print out the letters and attach them with a drop of super-glue, utilizing the indentations for secure placement. The enclosure's top and bottom pieces fit together snugly and hold together well due to friction alone. To make it more permanent, you could apply a small amount of super glue to each corner. If interested in the filament colors used: * AtomicFilament Light Gray PLA was utilized for the top * AtomicFilament Gray PLA for the bottom * Hatchbox Red PLA for the letters
