Inland Filament Stand

Inland Filament Stand

The filament path into the extruder on my Ender 3 isn't ideal, thanks to the spool holder on top. When I couldn't find bearings at my local hardware store to build a spool holder from old TV parts, I turned to a fellow maker's tip and started using 6mm Airsoft BBs as bearing balls. To make a better spool holder, I printed my own bearing races. Since I've been exclusively using Inland filament, this stand is designed with their spools in mind. The stand, in its current state, accommodates up to 70mm wide by 200mm diameter spools simply by removing the end spacer. I added a mid spacer and frame for top mounting the spool holder if you have a direct drive.
