Inktober Day 1: Watch Ring

A stylish timepiece that doubles as a ring, allowing you to stay on schedule AND look great. My first submission to Sketchfab’s 3D Inktober challenge is complete, but I wish I'd managed my time more efficiently - perhaps investing in one of these rings would help me avoid similar procrastination in the future. As a result, I'll need to scale back my ambitions for the next model and focus on speed if I want to catch up. The original design was rendered in vibrant color, but ultimately required a black and white finish so it could be visible even when the final render is deselected - unfortunately, this meant sacrificing some of the detail that good lighting and reflections would have provided.
