Here's my take on it: Inktober 2019 #1 - The One Ring. The year was 3018 of the Third Age, a time when Middle-earth was still reeling from the devastating effects of Sauron's darkness. But amidst the ruins, one object stood out as a beacon of hope: The One Ring, forged by the Dark Lord himself but imbued with an otherworldly power that could be wielded for good or ill. As I sat at my desk, quill in hand and inkwell beside me, I felt the weight of this responsibility settle upon me. I was tasked with bringing to life a character who would ultimately determine the fate of Middle-earth - Frodo Baggins, the hobbit destined to destroy The Ring in the fires of Mount Doom. With each stroke of my pen, I felt the story unfold before me like a tapestry woven from threads of gold and silver. The characters leapt off the page, their personalities shining bright as they navigated the treacherous landscape of Mordor. And at the heart of it all, The One Ring pulsed with an energy that seemed almost alive. As I wrote, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at the sheer magnitude of this story. How could one object hold such power over the lives of so many? What was it about The Ring that drew people in like moths to a flame? But as I delved deeper into the world of Middle-earth, I began to realize that The One Ring was more than just an object - it was a symbol of the very nature of humanity itself. It represented the darkness that lurked within us all, waiting to be unleashed upon the world. And so, with each stroke of my pen, I felt myself becoming a part of this epic tale, a small but vital thread in the grand tapestry of The One Ring's story.
