Inkle Loom Low-poly 3D model
cgtrader
I was approached today to model an Inkle Loom, which I had never heard of before, so I discreetly looked it up. Several places still sell this medieval "strap maker," and a simple DIY project for making your own is available on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KMv9uzk8iZ4&app=desktop). The Inkle Loom was patented in the 1930s, but I found references to the same tabletop weaving machine dating back to Ancient Rome and Persia. It seems that Gilmore had a tendency to borrow existing ideas. This model is low-poly, game-ready, PBR, AR/VR compatible. Textures include 2048 x 2048 pixels with an 8-pixel padding, dilation, and a single background color that can be used in OpenGL. Check out the blog at https://stgbooks.blogspot.com/
