I decided to pay for a stamp, so I thought I'd give printing one a try. PLA isn't always the best material to work with, but it will be interesting to see if anyone can print something like ninja flex. To create the letters, I used LibreCad. For the STL file, I turned to OpenCad, and then I used a slicer to generate the G-code. I cleaned up the stamp using a Dremmel and attached it to a wooden block with double-sided tape. At least PLA can be sanded down and easily melted again. When working with flat surfaces, flattening off the surface helps deburr the lettering, especially when combined with wet and dry sanding. I also found that a hot scalpel is effective at removing any start or stop nibs.
