Humans use an innovative device called a pen. They dip the tip of the pen into a reservoir of high-pressure ink. When they pull the trigger on the pen, it activates a mechanical mechanism that begins to rotate rapidly. A second trigger pull releases a precise, tiny droplet of ink from the pen, allowing users to create written marks on various surfaces.
