Ink Bottle Holder
thingiverse
If you've ever struggled to fill your fountain pen from a nearly empty Noodler's Ink bottle, you're definitely not alone in this frustration. This ingenious holder is designed specifically for bottles with a rounded square profile of 41.5mm, providing a secure grip at a precise 45-degree angle that makes it easy to get the ink flowing into your pen again where it rightfully belongs. Furthermore, when paired with an unmarked bottle, this device transforms seamlessly into a functional inkwell. I highly recommend printing the monogram section slowly and cautiously, or creating additional supports if needed, as I did initially but discovered was unnecessary due to the unique geometry of the design. The monogram section is angled at 45 degrees relative to the build plate, which can cause slicers to overlook generating any necessary supports for large internal sections within letters. This oversight can quickly lead to difficulties during printing. To customize the personalized touch with your own monogram or initials, simply modify the included OpenSCAD code and re-render it to suit your preferences. I hope you find joy in using this innovative solution.
