Injured Gaul at the Louvre museum, Paris, France
myminifactory
This Gallic warrior, recognizable by his messy hair and oval shield in central position, fiercely resists despite the injury that weakens him. The artwork is characterized by an expensive baroque aesthetic reminiscent of Pergamum's sculpture style. It was inspired by a group created around 200 BC on the Acropolis of Athens to commemorate the victory of the Pergamene ruler over the Galatians. This object is part of "Scan The World," a non-profit initiative launched by MyMiniFactory, aimed at creating a digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks, and landmarks from around the globe for free public access.
