This brain model is based on an individual's MPRAGE (magnetization-prepared rapid acquisition with gradient echo) & FLAIR (fluid-attenuated inversion recovery) MRI scan, which clearly breaks down the brain into its distinct main lobes. The frontal lobe stands out in blue, while the temporal lobe shines bright in green. The parietal lobe is a vibrant yellow and the occipital lobe is a soft light red. Missing or damaged tissue is starkly visible in dark red. The cerebellum is a warm tan color and the brain stem is a delicate pink.
