Injora crawler chassis skid plate
thingiverse
I designed this skid plate in an effort to fit trailing arms to my Injora crawler chassis. In the end the chassis just wasn't wide enough to match the trailing arms and the axles (ar60) I wanted to run. I still liked the design, and it's a bit smoother than what came with the chassis so I rolled with it. Notes- - Lower link mounts use m3x20-25 grub screws (set screws). - Skid plate does NOT include Upper link mounts. It will require a custom upper link mount similar to the aluminum plate I show in the pictures. - This skid plate will effectively lengthen your rear lower links compared to the stock configuration so be aware adjustments will be needed to correct driveline angles. - The v13 skid uses the stock link locations, but may require a 2mm spacer under the trans depending on which rod ends you use (ex. I used Traxxas m4 rod ends and the motor plate interfered with the front links) - The v16 skid, I moved the front link mounts forward a few mm to give me room for the links with the trans mounted flat on the skid plate. Link adjustments may be needed to account for this. Depending on your battery setup, this might also be resolved by mirroring the trans to move the motor plate to the rear. This may also for for an Axial SCX-10. I believe Injora copied their skid plate design, but I don't have an SCX10 so I'm not 100% sure.
