Injection Pen Carrying Case

People with diabetes and other health conditions often rely on injection pens to manage their medications. These pens require regular maintenance, but people may not always be at home when they need to use them or take their medication. To stay organized, individuals must carry around the pens, needles, swabs, and other supplies needed for injections. A compact storage case can make it easier for people to transport their injection pens and accessories in one convenient package. This case features a clip that securely holds the pen in place while other items are stored in separate compartments. To prevent items from shifting during transit, the case includes three holding areas with space for cotton balls to keep contents stable. The STL file provided has the case designed to be open, requiring a build area of approximately 170x145 mm. The hinge is created with precision angles to minimize the need for support structures during printing. On my machine, this design worked well without any supports when using PETG filament, which can be challenging to bridge. For optimal print quality, I used a moderate infill setting of 10% for most parts, except for the hinge, where I increased it to 40% for added strength. The walls were set at 1.2 mm for maximum stiffness, but I adjusted this to 1.6 mm for the hinge to ensure its structural integrity.
