Initiative Tracker

Initiative Tracker

It all started when I printed the pasta rack that this is a remix of. I noticed that the tall stand and the free spinning, yet not loose arms, could also work for something else - an initiative tracker. The files included here for feet and stand are identical to those of which this is a remix of. They are not my work, as such I cannot claim original files for them. I only included them here in case you wanted to print these and didn't want to go to a different link. Please feel free to stop by and give the original designer some well-deserved praise at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3938338 The items marked nameplate, these I designed in Tinkercad using 4 simple shapes. If anyone wants them, please comment - I will gladly send over the files if you want to do something with them. There are 4 different files, they're all the same thing, just cut off at different points. Other than the full, the idea is to print 2 and sandwich a sheet of paper, index card, or cardboard between two of them to work as a nameplate. The full can be scaled if needed (height/z-axis) for taller/shorter items. I can confirm all 4 files work. I'm actually using the quarter and test file mostly since they're the quickest to print, and being the smallest, they allow for the most flexibility on the stand. Only the full requires supports. I got the idea from watching Dungeon Dudes (YouTube and Twitch) - https://www.twitch.tv/dungeon_dudes, https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQDKouT6G_6P1eBIfkTkC-w. They have this below item, and use frequently - https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/initiativerod/the-legendary-rod-of-initiative?fbclid=IwAR3FuIObaam5Kzuqh4rOw0pL7A6ozubSe9rJ1gClFkeyWXARE7rqXNNkygk More realistically, this item is much more similar to https://axenshield.com/product/initiative-tracker/. The item here costs about $25 maybe plus shipping. You can print one of these up in about 15 hours and for about 200 grams of filament (based on my experience and settings at least). Technically, you can incorporate some kind of magnet into this and make permanent name tags for some players if you want. I'm going to stick with friction - no pun intended.
