Inspired by several works found on various platforms, these innovative initiative markers seamlessly integrate onto our Pathfinder DM screen, simplifying the process for both players and DMs to grasp the initiative order and whose turn it is. The holders for monsters enable effortless interchangeability between scenarios. I was inspired by the creative works of: Canibal_knifes’ Banner Initiative Tracker (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3151396) theluken’s DM screen-top initiative tracker https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3320069 & https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3324074 As a medieval recreationist, the concept of utilizing a banner was highly appealing. However, I found that the width required by the finials was not feasible due to our large party size and the need for all markers to fit on the front two panels. The clips did not fit our screen, and I was not fond of the sunken nature of the DM side designation while printing the clips sideways. The condition markers were a great idea we had considered before. I was unaware of the class emblems being used in 5e until seeing them positioned above the screen, making it easy for players and DMs to recognize the markers. However, they did obstruct the view slightly. The versatility of the remix version and skull design was appreciated. I opted for a banner system for heroes and a plaque holding system that resembled monsters, allowing for simple swapping between scenarios. The banners will resemble Canibal Knifes', with and without finials, while the rear banner is designed specifically for this layout. The artwork on the rear banner does not always match the front but evokes enough imagery to identify its owner. The monster plaque holder receives easily swappable plaques that can be monsters or NPC's. All components fit onto a single design clip that incorporates a point for stacking condition markers. There is an additional clip for holding condition marks out of the way, which I provided along with two washer-style markers featuring beveled interior openings. A green initiative marker makes use of the spike for the condition marker and moves as play sequences progress through the round. The banners are primarily used for heroes and some steeds, while plaques are typically employed for monsters, NPC's, and their steeds. The monster plaques and holder sit higher than the hero banners, which helps distinguish them from heroes. Although we often use black for monster holders to differentiate them from heroes, their shorter stature also aids in this regard. An advantage of this design is that the plaque sits high enough for a DM to write with a marker sufficient detail on the rear that they can identify what's on the front without consulting their notes to cross-reference the holder number. Yes, condition markers can make it challenging, but it works 90% of the time. There are numerous files available. I created class markers based on Luke’s work and customized some for our party. I also produced many monster plaques, including some that exist elsewhere, as well as blanks. The plaques fit loosely by design, allowing you to stretch them slightly wider if desired, but be aware that this will alter the outside angles and art dimensions. We do not experience these falling out unless the screen is lowered, so I have no plans to modify them. I print clips on the side with support for the condition marker holder but without support for hero and monster versions. All banners, plaques, and plaque holders are printed with their backs facing down, without support. A small amount of trimming and filing may be necessary in the groove of a banner or plaque holder. The green initiative marker is printed with support and requires cutting out around the letter I. I use a first layer of .32mm, additional layers of .12mm, and apply a brim. Infill is not used on these prints; instead, they are solid, which might also be considered 100% infill. However, they are not hollow in any way. My Ender 3 features a nozzle with a diameter of 0.4mm. Enjoy, Hroudland
