Inhalation valve
thingiverse
Device is a snap-on valve used for inhalation on the mask facepiece. It should fit snugly into place with a thin layer of film in between, secured at 98% scale for a proper fit. Printing without support is possible, and infill density can exceed 50%. Layer height can be set to .2-.3 millimeters. The valve integrates seamlessly with the mask designed by Budash, allowing for more flexible material to be used as the diaphragm. This design also reduces the health risk of inhaling or lodging material within the trachea. If a laser cutter is not available, consider purchasing a 3/4-inch hammer-driven hole punch from McMaster-Carr for creating the valve diaphragm and 0.006-inch thick material. Good luck with your project!
